The Job Drill 7 Case ons for Brencon. No other machine could get there. The access was limited to steep for a crawler, and to narrow. The Case ons 18″x 14 ft, not sitting above, but below the holes to drill. That is a big disadvantage. The Menzi A71 was capable.

The Task is to use the Menzi A71 with the rotary grapple to place 1/4 ton rip rap. The Spider Excavator is the only machine that can safely walk on the 2to1 slope, and get any production. The task is a little daunting, but a good challenge.

Camp Pendelton Marine Weapons Range 2011

The Task. Reyes Construction needed to remove over burden material. 1.1 slope steep for any spider not winched off. Reyes Construction had tried to take a conventional excavator up the slope to remove the excess over-burden material, and blew the track tension seals. They sent a 550 dozer, and could not do the work either. At that moment they made the call to Hillside Equipment Rental.
